Da Hong Pao, or "Big Red Robe," is the flagship tea of Wuyi Rock Oolong. The original mother bushes are carefully preserved on the cliffs of Nine Dragon Rock, protected by a stone barrier by the government. Today, most of the Da Hong Pao available on the market is a blended version designed to replicate the unique character of the original varietal from the heart of the Wuyi Mountains. Due to its blended nature, Da Hong Pao is one of the most versatile Wuyi Rock Oolongs, offering a wide range of flavors and qualities.

This particular tea, crafted by the skilled master Liu, is a beautifully floral and fruity expression of Wuyi Rock Oolong. It offers a signature flavor profile that combines smooth, mineral-rich texture with a fruity taste. The clear liquor, tinged with a reddish hue, delivers a naturally sweet finish that lingers pleasantly on both the palate and the nose. This delightful tea will undoubtedly expand your appreciation of Wuyi Rock Oolong and elevate your tea experience.

Each packet/pao weighs 8.3g, a standard volume for gongfu tea brewing with tea to water ratio of 100ml.
