Guan Yang is one of the three core white tea producing administrative divisions in Fuding county, Fujian province. This tea was grown in the wild meadows of the hilly mountains, harvested in 2019 pre-Ming April, traditionally processed and aged for five years, then pressed into packets of 6 mini-bricks for convenience. It delights the senses with orchid floral notes, a clean and clear liquor, creamy body, and silky smoothness with notes of pear, dates, and vanilla.

Tasting Profile

It has strong orchid floral notes, very fresh, full bodied, has notes of dates, melon, hay, and a vanilla sweetness. It yields a strong aftertaste, or hui gan. 

Steeping Guide

Use one mini-brick per session. 212 degrees, use filtered or spring water, 150-200ml brewing vessel, steep for 1-2 minutes per personal taste.
