Raw and Ripe Pu-erh Tea
We are a premium Chinese pu-erh tea vendor. Pu-erh tea originates from Yunnan province, dating back to the 4th century. It has dynamic terroir and flavor profiles, a complex aging process, and has attributes similar to fine wine. Pu-erh tea has two subcategories, raw Pu-erh (sheng Pu-erh in Chinese) and cooked Pu-erh/ripe Pu-erh (Shu Pu-erh in Chinese). We curate a great selection of Pu-erh tea, organically grown, from first year new harvest to well-aged vintage Pu-erh, from famous tea growing regions Menghai, Yiwu, Jing Mai, Mengku, traveling as far as the Chinese borders to Laos and Myanmar.
Pu-erh tea are pressed into different shapes and sizes, such as cakes, bricks, mushrooms or Tuo cha, mini cakes. Pu-erh tea also has great health benefits, especially in aiding digestion, weight control, and lowering blood pressure and cholesterol.
