Guo Yuan literally translates to "Fruit Garden" in English. However, Guo Yuan has a special meaning in Buddhism. Guo means the fruit of self-cultivation. Yuan means the root or underlying, implying the fundamentals of self-cultivation in Buddhism. Guo Yuan also infers harmony and understanding. 

This teapot is one of the eighteen teapot styles of the famous intellectual teapot creator Man Sheng, an imitation version of Yang Peng Nian (杨彭年), who was a famous great potter master during the Qing dynasty. This teapot was hand crafted by master Wu, a senior master certificate holder sanctioned by China's Arts and Crafts Governing Authority. The teapot has round and full body shape, with an arched lid, a round bead on the top and a straight-up spout with a short neck. The teapot features beautiful calligraphy, which translates to "One gains deep wisdom from self-cultivation, preventing spiritual decay, becoming one of the immortal Confucianists."

Also at the far left is an imitation of the signature of Man Sheng. This teapot can serve up to 8 people in gongfu brewing style. 

Zisha is known to have the ability to adapt and enhance the tea flavor. Over a period of use the surface of the tea pot can reflect the color of the tea that it brews and become glazed. The process of the surface becoming glazed is called "yang hu", literally meaning "raise the teapot" in Chinese. Chinese tea people regard this process as a fun part of tea enjoyment.
