This exquisite plate serves as a great base for gaiwans and teapots. It features distinctly full white plum blossoms against a contrasting field of deep blue. The plum blossoms are painted with five petals, along with hardy layered branches and buds, depicting a vivid image of a plum blossom in the snow. The aesthetics and the level of painting detail is amazing. The outer rim of the plate is also painted with a flower motif as decoration. The plate can also be used as a serving plate or simply as a display piece.
