2014 Menghai Qi Zi Bing Cha Raw Pu-erh Tea
This tea coming from Menghai, one of the most renowned and sought-after puerh tea producing regions of Yunnan. This tea produced by the renowned company Zhong Ji Hao, from 80-150 year old arbor tree, after nine years of aging, this tea has developed its flavor well with floral and fruitiness, honey sweetness and buttery smoothness. It produces a consistent saliva-rich mouthfeel and sweet aftertaste, that tea connoisseurs call it Hui Gan. The pronounced buttery sweet notes persist from the first steep all the way to the last. We predict it will further develop and deepen these wonderful attributes as time goes by.
Traditionally, puerh cakes are stacked together and wrapped in a bamboo skin case called a tong. One tong is composed of 7 individual cakes. To purchase a tong, simply purchase 7 cakes, and leave us a note that you desire a tong.
