A Rare Treasure from the Heart of Wuyi Mountains

Discover the authentic essence of Old Bush Shui Xian, a highly sought-after oolong tea grown deep within the pristine Wuyi Mountains National Park. Renowned for its distinctive Cong flavor – a unique blend of woody and mossy notes cherished by tea connoisseurs – this tea exemplifies the true artistry of Wuyi rock tea.

Sourced from the historic Shui Lian Dong (Waterfall Cave), one of the core tea-producing areas revered as Zhen Yan or "true rocks/cliffs," this tea embodies the rare and authentic characteristics that define Wuyi Yan Cha. Harvested in May 2023, it is skillfully crafted by Master Liu, a second-generation tea artisan with over 20 years of expertise. Following in the footsteps of his father, a legendary roasting master of the famed state-owned Wuyi Yan Cha factory, Master Liu perfected the traditional technique of moderate charcoal roasting, resulting in a tea of unparalleled quality.

This Old Bush Shui Xian delights the senses with a gentle and elegant aroma, offering a smooth and delicate mouthfeel with fruity undertones of peach, apricot, and pear. Its subtle Yun – the lingering aftertaste that defines a true Wuyi rock tea – sets it apart as a remarkable oolong tea not to be missed.
